Studied piano from an early age and accompanied choirs from the age of 14. Having gained Associate and
Licentiate diplomas with the London College of Music I began teaching and writing music. As accompanist I
have taken part in many festivals,competitions and concert tours.At present I accompany 3 male voice
choirs, one mixed choir and one ladies choir, and am MD of a mixed choir. In the past I have played for
theatre groups and their productions. I also regularly play keyboard and accordion in a country dance band.
In 2003 my composition, "The Hedgehog Song" for four part male choir,was the winning entry in the
composers' competition and was performed by the English Concert Singers as part of the Gala concert
during the International Male Voice Choral Festival.
